Summit Ranch is located approximately 21 miles south of Stephenville in southern Erath County just north of the Hamilton County line. The ranch is located approximately 15 miles southeast of Dublin and 19 miles west of Hico. This ranch is very well located in a highly desirable area of central Texas.
Erath
Summit Ranch is located along the east side of FM 914 in southern Erath County. There is approximately 4/10 of a mile of paved frontage along FM 914. Additionally, County Road 293 runs along the northern boundary. The property has approximately one mile of frontage on County Road 293.
Summit Ranch has been under the same ownership for over 30 years and used primarily as a combination livestock and recreational ranch. The ranch is made of primarily of gently rolling native pasture varying from open country to moderate brush cover with rougher country along the creek and drainages. There are a couple of coastal fields and one large field in the northeast corner of the ranch. Brush species consist primarily of cedar, mesquite, live oak, post oak and elm trees.
Gilmore Creek, an intermittent creek, traverses the through the ranch's northeast corner and a tributary of Gilmore Creek traverses through the center of the ranch.
In addition to Gilmore Creek, the property includes three stock tanks.
One old metal barn and a steel set of livestock pens.
