Terrain on the Wylie View Ranch consists primarily of level to gently sloping greasewood flats with several small hills in the southern portion of the property. Wildhorse Draw meanders along the eastern edge of the ranch with various areas of tabosa flats and other native grasses located along the draw.
Elevations range from approximately 3,800' above sea level to approximately 4,000' above sea level with the highest point being what is locally known as Cross Hill.
The entire ranch offers good views of the Wylie Mountains to the east, the Carrizo Mountains to the west and the Beach Mountains to the north.
Water is currently supplied by two water wells, both equipped with electric submersible pumps. One well supplies livestock water in the southern portion of the property. The other well is located at the headquarters and supplies domestic and livestock water. The strength of this well is reportedly 25 gallons per minute. There is an old irrigation well that is no longer in use.
Additional water is supplied by several dirt tanks located around the ranch.
The headquarters complex is located in the northeast portion of the ranch with easy access from the I-10 frontage road.
The house consists of approximately 3,445 square feet and was originally built in 1968. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms as well as a den, living room, kitchen and utility room. There is a swimming pool in the back yard.
A 30' x 50' metal barn on a concrete slab provides ample storage and work space.
Mule Deer and Blue Quail are found on the property.
